Jedburgh After switch over can I then get digital radio?Mike Bryden: You will be able to use a Freeview box to listen to them, but the expansion of DAB digital radio is independent of the television service. M

Why as the Borders is the first switchover to happen, why can we not receive the full compliment of Freeview channels as other areas like West Lothian who have not undergone the switchover, but can receive the full compliment of channelsMatthew Braybrook: This is a Freeview Lite transmitter and will provide only half of the Freeview service after switchover. Switchover does not bring the whole service to ALL transmitters, only the main 80 transmitters. D
David HudsonMonday 23 August 2010 7:20PM
Do you know when, or if the Freeview lite transmitter will be upgraded to bring more channels?David Hudson: There are no plans to add any more multiplexes to any of the public service transmitters.
Freeview HD will add BBC One HD shortly, with Channel 5 HD in 2012.
You might also get BBC Alba, but only if they switch the radio off. M

Jedburgh Since yesterday (1st July) I and my neighbours have been UNABLE to receive ANY BBC channels - either TV or digital radio on the TV. (The other channels are fine, that is ITV 1 & 2, Channel 4 and 5 etc.) But no BBC channels at all.
The website says there are no problems.
Can you tell us what the problem is? And if it can be fixed soon?
Angela Lemaire: Hi. There was a fault for about four hours.
