If you have any kind of Freeview fault, follow this Freeview reset procedure first.

Digital television services are broadcast on a multiplexes (or Mux) where many stations occupy a single broadcast frequency, as shown below. The rating shown takes in account the output power level and the various Freeview transmission modes and do not indicate an ongoing fault.

Thanks for the information Eddie and c Reade, also lost all freeview and not a mention on BBC website etc so far.

No point me shinning up my aerial mast tonight then.

I would say it is - signal still strong on freeview hd box (saorview?) but absolutely no signal for all others...

Freeview from Divis is currently down and off air (obviously weather related) and nothing whatsoever to do with "lost all Freeview channels). Black Mountain was apparently off air yesterday.

Carnmoney Hill also down. Strangely, the NI Mux from both Black Mountain and Carnmoney are still running.

Thank goodness for satellite.

Hopefully "engineering" are aware of the problem i.e. no terrestrial TV throughout much of NI.

Thanks for that Eddie... Seems theres nothing we can do but wait.. The weather's already effected the electricity and theres also a problem with emergency services taking 999 calls , the calls are being diverted to Scotland for some reason... So much for spring weather eh?

Hi all! Here is one way to get over 'No Signal' problems is the way my daughter used when Divis was off. We were watching Law and Order on Channel 5 and when Divis went down was to watch the remainder of the show via the internet. It looks like some of the muxs are still off air at 12.30am Sunday.

Another good reason to have Freesat as a back up, even if you have good terrestrial reception.

I well remember the major fault at Divis in the late 70's (or was it the early 80's ?) when we had no TV for almost a week. The transmitter was subsequently on low power4 for several months afterwards.

Satellite or cable didn't exist in those days, so it was all very frustrating!

If you read the previous posts re: Transmitter engineering on Divis. It would appear that it is now effecting radio transmissions while earlier it was some TV. I was just wondering if it was due to additional engineering for changes later this year - i.e. Northern Visions etc.

The DAB problem could be due to the fact that Digital One will be broadcasting from Divis in a few months time.

I think FM transmissions are still from the old mast.

Whats happening, lost signal to film4, did a suggested re-tune, now instead of 144 channels i have only 66.
is there transmitter maintenance going on, this has been playing for the past week or so? has this something to do with 4G masts problem from 2013 - 2017, thats along time to have to put up with poor signals.
roof top vertical mast.
oh further a further re-tune have given me 103 channels, oh another re-tune has given me 144 channels again.
i thought the digital switchover was to sort out these old issues.

Donaghadee seems to be in a good reception area for the Divis main transmitter, but could be prone to interference from Caldbeck in NW England.

I don't think they've done any 800 MHz 4G tests in NI yet.

Might be no harm to get your aerial system checked out.
