Which Bangor are you referring to - the one in N Wales or the one in N Ireland? Hi Briantist,
I thought that Storeton also transmits with mixed polarity - vertically for it's English service and horizontally for it's Welsh service, although I note that only the English service is covered in detail on the relevant page with but a brief mention of the Welsh multiplexes with no technical details. The above Welsh Freeview information implies that the 3 multiplexes on C57, C53 and C60 all put out the same programming. This is definitely NOT the case, as, for example, I receive HD programming on C60, ITV, etc on C53 and BBC1, etc on C53. Briantist - Now that S4C have announced that they are to drop HD from the end of this year, any word as to what the spare slot will be used for? Switching from Auto to PCM cured the problem for me. However, last year I purchased a Panasonic Sound Bar which I use via an SPDIF link and the improvement in sound quality over the TV's sound system is dramatic. Highly recommended!!!
