Can I use an existing sky dish with a freeview box? and if so can the two services share the same dish?

I moved into a new flat that has a sky dish installed but I only have an old sky box with a single input where as the sky dish has two inputs. How can I use my old box on this set up? or do I need to buy a freesat box (do they have two inputs)?
