Hi there,
Do you know when a DAB service will be available from the Skriaig transmitter.

Once again this morning (20/8/10/) the Skriaig
transmitter stopped transmitting this is the second time this week - this is the main relay on Skye, which means the WHOLE of Skye will loose there freeview services.
Does anyone out there no what the problem is?

My postcode is iv56 8fa but it's not a reception problem, as I get a 90% signal strength when the transmitter is on the air.
The problem I think is a power cut at the transmitter site.
I know this because we also loose all main radio services ie, radio 1,2,3,4.

As the skriaig transmitter feeds all the relays on Skye, when there is a power cut,the whole of Skye loose there Freeview service.
