No. The first 4 Freeview HD channels start on the 15th April at DSO stage 2. You will receive BBC1 HD, BBC HD, ITV1 HD & CH4 HD. I get Freeview SD and Freesat HD & SD so i'm looking forward to CH4 HD coming to Freesat in April. I would guess that the Freesat HD pictures will be slightly better than Freeview HD ones.

Tuned in Channel 4 HD last night on my Sony KDL40W5810 TV and it's a great picture without any Logo DOG. Don't suppose that'll be the case on the official FreeSat launch day!
For anyone who tries it on there Sony TV it's right up near the top of the channel list (high numbers).

The 4 HD channels have started from Sandy Heath in full power on Ch21 (where 4 Analogue used to be). Channel 21 is within the old A group TV aerial so if you are not getting it now ther is something wrong at your end. Are you gettint the main BBC channels on Ch27? Has you receiver got a Freeview HD logo on it? The equipment is not DVB-T2 (HD) if it doesn't have that logo.

The missing channels are on UHF Ch. 24 where ITV Analogue used to be. It is within the old "A" aerial group so shouldn't be a problem. Try doing a manual search on that channel if you can by "adding channels" to see if they lock in. I'm in St. Neots with a W (wideband) aerial and get all muxes fine but I'm only 8 miles from Sandy. An A group aerial has a red end. Its elements are quite wide and well spaced. A C/D aerial which may be around will point North to Waltham and have shorter element spaced closer together (higher frequency).

BBC1 analogue was the last to go at about 12.30am.
Can we not place hyper-links which are often coloured bkue onto a blue background which is almost the same colour. It makes them very difficult to see! (Tested with Chrome and Firefox).

Try a manual tune of channel 48.
This may get them saved.
Are you picking up Waltham on that TV as you may have those channels from there and the Sandy ones in the 800's.
