I have a Humax Foxsat-Hd box connected to a Sony Bravia LCD TV. Been working fine for a couple of years then last evening I tried to use it and after about 10 seconds of normal picture/sound it reverts to a green screen. Must have been some update that has thrown things out but how can I revert bto previous settings? Thanks Lutonfan, I did power off and unplug the Freesat Box and turned off and unplugged the TV overnight as usual. Next day I plugged it all back in waited until it was all working OK and it all worked fine. Dave Rhodes: Just replaced my old single LNB with a Quad so I can get a Humax Freesat PVR and use the old Freesat box in the bedroom. After connecting the new LNB I get 100% reception but only 80% quality. Is that OK for HD reception? Bob H: jb38. thanks for that response, the indications are on the Humax box, I dumped my old Sky box some years ago. Watched BBC HD last night and it appears to be OK, no pixilating no breakup. Will now go ahead and wire up all the others. Colin: Somewhere on your Freesat box you should be able to see signal strength/quality, check to see what you are getting. If weak then your dish may have moved or not been installed and aligned correctly or your LNB ( the bit with wires comeing out) may need replacing. Is the connection to your Freesat Box good? I found one where the central wire was bent over and not going into the central hole.
