Fantastic site but if you want to get lots more in addition on your freesat or skybox from all over Europe for free, do what i did and go to freesatbox.net tons of free stuff for free !!! thats what i like Yes you can stop paying sky, and use not just a freesat box, but any free to air box. You can, without a card, still get all the free channels. plus add another 50 in any skybox menu or hundreds more in any free to air box. I got all this info from freesatbox.net and now have free tv, no card, no Murdoch, no hassle - found it here on 
FREESAT BOX SET UP Also went on www.freesat-set-up.com and found another place where i could get info which has given me a non sky free tv choice. But i can get it through my skybox or any free to air box. Had to pay for a book but got the one i paid for and one for free. Now got a simple set up and too many channels ! Sorry, forgot to mention - all done without a sky card. Hi Gary, I had a similar problem and got sent to www.freesatbox.net from another forum. I now have free tv on my sky box, NO CARD NEEDED, and no subscription. Got c4, c5 itv, bbc, film 4 channels and loads more for free. Plus on my other free to air satbox, i have up to 3,000 free channels from all over europe. They sent me a simple set up guide to adjust my dish without a satmeter and a reset code for my skybox. I had to pay a few quid, but its a very informative book and has saved me a bomb in engineers costs and opened a new world up to me. Try going into picture settings and swap between pal and rgb, one WILL be better than the other, i found this out from www.freesatbox.net and it now works a treat, no more ghosting.and i now have tons more free channels, 50 more in my skybox and hundreds more in my freesat box, all without a card. You can also use the same menu entry as above but use the secret sky engineers menu. services 4 0 1 select - 10714H - 20000 - 5/6 Which will get you the strongest channel 4 signal. I got all this and tons more high output frequencies from a book at www.Freesabox.net nice thing is, NO SKYCARD IS NEEDED to put the info in a skybox or a freesatbox Maybe because I didnt know how to install my own dish or how to get in the secret menus. I found different bit of info all over the net but the books i got had everything i needed to know in one place. Were not all technicos !!! Because I thought it was worth letting others know that there is a place where proper info can be had. Not the usual ill informed copy and pasted drivel seen on most blogs. Suspicions are just that, No sorry, I am keeping it, the other channels can all be found at lyngsat.com europe free. I am merely letting others know there is a diy book to help enter them in their boxes. What are these posts about ??????? Cant see this, cant do that - its so simple to get loads o free stuff and lets be right - its not really rocket science to enter your menu - press ya remote buttons and it does it itself. And I am NOT a techno do da, Must admit I did buy a cheap download, but goodness me, I now have over 350 freesat options and access to around 3,000 on Hotbird from www.freesatbox.net
An when you you go into your menu to scan just simply select non pay channels then you only get fre to air Ok then, I will ignore your politeness but your obviously struggling with the obvious so I would love to help - if anyone wants to email me i will send you all I have for help with Freesat and Sky and self installing your own systems. julie.howard1@virgin.net hope I dont get bombed off for giving my email addy on here -
