i have had 6 calls in less than 2 hours from them today and keep telling them i have never ordered from them ever. I ordered a DUSK FLOWER QUILT/DUVET SET on 08-12-08. todate 22-12-08 still NOT recieved. I telephoned your customer services but after 15 mins of holding on I was cut off. i am a regular customer of these chanels and up until recently have never had prob until a halogen cooker i bought from them blew up sending shards of glass flying through the air the top of the cooker was glass with control panels i have used this type of thing for a long time having gotten 5 over the past yrs .
on contacting the company they laughed at me we had company over that evening and i had a whole leg of lamb in the cooker yes they would refund price but nothing else but before they would do that they wanted the item back, oh no i dont think so, the temp panel goes from defrost to 250 degrees i was cooking on 150 i was told that i had droped the lid or it was basically my fault i turned the heat up to far yes seriously thats what was said.
put it in the hands of trading standards and they are getting the same response from them as i have ie NOTHING ..
to top the lot now let me explain i am a disabled lady that trys not to allow my probs to stop me from doing things but i found that i was burning myself using the ordinary kettles so last wk my husband noticed the channel had an 8 litre urn for a resonable price so bless him he bought it for me today i received a call from the chanel telling me that my money for this item had been put back into my account owing to the item being returned by the courier saying they had tried to deliver it twice on the same day at different times this is rubish i will tell you why i am HOUSE BOUND due to my disabilities/wheelchair user outside only my home is covered by cctv and i have a private track leading to my house double gates that are alarmed to notify me someone has entered onto the property and a rather protective dog that barks like crazy when said alarm goes off and as said gates and track/ house covered by cctv oh yes and if say i was attending a hosp app i have a 22yr old son that doesnt start work until 4pm so this is total rubbish the courier i dont think even atempted to deliver now let me say this though i have a regular delivery man called CHRIS an absolute darling he will and does and has gone out of his way to deliver my shopping it is however only when this guy is not at work that problems occur with the courier the excuse is i am off the beaten track so to get over this CHRIS had a map drawn up printed and copied gave to company to give to drivers when he is away so no excuss there is there just plain bone idleness, so now i am without a piece of equipment that would have allowed me to be independant of making a simple cup of tea i now have to ask and that miffs me ever so my husband though has said this is not the end.traceyThursday 2 July 2009 11:44AM
this is for all people who use the telephone preference service unfortunately they can only stop calls being made from inside the uk and this company uses over seas hence the reason why you cant stop the calls sorrytracey: I am sorry to hear that you have had these problems with their delivery service. my mother who is 72 bought an electric tooth brush from pricedrop tv after a few months of using it it stopped working so she phoned your company up [as the item was still under garentee] the lady told her to send it back which she did. They quoted her this number to send with it 1n6069803 and thats been it nothing shes phoned up 3 times at £1.50 a go [yes its being delt with and so forth]. This is bad customer services and we, thats both myself and my mother will not be buying anything again from this channel, and i dont think that i will get a e-mail about what i have wrote on this website either.janis: I am very saddened to hear you have problems. Please can someone help me? I have been a really good customer of Price-drop tv over the last 3/5 years as I am disabled and cant get out so it suits me. I have ordered an item that I haven't received but they have kept my money and wont give it back to me. My account was debited on 10th September 2009 and I have made over 8 phone calls to them but they say I have to fill out the form to report it lost but they never send the form to me. Please can someone help me to get my money back I'm going mad here, and shall not be using these channels again the customer service is terrible, no one can understand you for one thing. i ordered a size 20 your invoice says it is a size 18
the coat was a size 14 obviously i hace had to return it

After reading all these comments, have decided I wiill never buy again, have bought a few things, thinking I had a bargain, but realize I hav,nt. The last item I bought , I have not received. Totally agree, should be closed downXander.According to my freeview box,Price-Drop TV is still broadcasting on programme channel No 37 from Emley Moor.I dont know about Winter Hill and Belmont at present,but i do know as far as Emley Moor is concerned it is beaming in front of me as i am texting this reply to you ! Confirmed to my above text,Price Drop TV is also still broadcasting on programme channels No 37 from both Belmont and Winter Hill transmitters.Both performed separately via deleting my normal programme channel set up in my locality ! Thanks Briantist.I though that exactly too.Xander's seven wee texts within eight minutes from first to last/seventh did'nt add up.He probably is a spammer himself,hopefully he deserves to be banned on this very useful site anyway.
By the way only nine main transmitters (i think it is ?) in the UK are still to switch off analogue and lower powered pre-digital signals,and switch on higher powered post-digital signals.Come 0020 hours Wednesday 30 May 2012 most likely after the programme "She-Wolves:England's Early Queens" finishes its broadcast on BBC2,the analogue BBC2 from Heathfield will be forever switched off along with the lower powered digital Mux1 multiplex at the same time and some minutes later the new high powered BBCA multiplex will launch on frequency 52,the start of DSO1 at Heathfield.
Oddly enough Heathfield is the last main transmitter to complete DSO on its own.The others coming up,Bluebell Hill and Dover together simultaneously are the last to complete DSO as a duo (the restrictions at Sudbury lifted on Wednesday 27 June 2012),while Chatton,Pontop Pike and Bilsdale (as a trio) in North-East England come September 2012,and the last trio in Northern Ireland/Ulster come October 2012 Brougher Mountain,Divis and Limavady will ultimately complete DSO here in the UK. I have dealt quite a lot with PriceDrop alias BidTv etc.
Then looking at my bank statement I found multiple debits charged for the same goods under a copy address but with a slightly different order number.
Wnen I try to point this out to the "Contact us" Email number I find it to be yet another blocked reply address. Attempts by Phone are Indian "English" moronic garbage.
A call to my Local RBS branch was total "Pass the buck".
I believe these sites are getting away with being channels for some fraud on a gigantic scale. I know of no way to stop them and I wish to God I did ! Jim BeeAndrewWednesday 26 September 2012 8:11PM

Don't shop with these people. Been waiting 3 weeks for a refund on a returned item , no joy with customer services as they have problems understanding the basic issue .
