Please can we also have this channel on Virgin Cable TV as it doesn't appear to be on their listing. As it is a free channel, I don't really understand why it only seems to be available on Sky or on the internet.

Sarah Clayton: Virgin Media have limited capacity, and have to enter into an agreement with the channel provider to provide it on their system.

can you explain why my daughter can get this channel on Freeview, but I can not?

The only thing I can think of is that because she used to subscribe to Sky, it has somehow remained in her tv system?

Is it possible for me to get this channel on my tv with built in freeview ? Thanks

I need to purchase a new arial, what do you think is best. Do I go for freeview or freesat.

janet: This is a free to air satellite channel. You need a Sky or Freesat box plus a dish to receive it. Your TV with built in Freeview uses a normal UHF TV aerial to receive a somewhat different selection of channels.

George: I always hesitate at recommending anything other than Freesat, this because that so long as any dish installed is not facing into a nearby tree then Freesat is 99.9% reliable, anytime not usually being for only few minutes during a really thundery downpour.

Anyway, you are predicted as being able to have good reception from either Craigkelly, Blackhill or even Durris, although I have serious doubts about the latter, but as you are only 8 miles away from Craigkelly Freeview would indicate as being OK for your requirements, Freeview being much more flexible than Freesat if TV is required in more than one location in the house.

christoph: You will need to point a dish at the Astra 2 satellite cluster and use a suitable set-top box.
