CITV has been withdrawn in Wales so that ITV4 can broadcast 24 hours. I do not call this progress. Especially when I have to explain to my daughter that 'her cartoons' have been replaced by police chases. I am very disillusioned and can only hope that CITV gets reinstated, this came as a total surprise to us.Hi Cerys, while what you say is true about itv4, the root of the problem is the lack of capacity to broadcast in wales which is in part due to us having both s4c & channel 4 this was also the reason we did not get disney's abc channel. Its a shame that bandwith is wasted on shopping when bandwith is so scarce. If you have access to a satellite system citv is still available & you do not have to subscribe, this is how most people in the valleys get it as freeview is not available in a lot of places. i too live in wales and my childen are really upset that they no longer get citv![only the few hours on saturday and sunday mornings]ive read your comments regarding 'the lack of capacity to broadcast in wales'how do i explain that to my 4 year old? is there anything we can do about it? is there an address we can write to explaining our situation?.very annoyed that the re-scanning advert does not mention that wales will no longer get citv!Hi Cheryl, The only thing you can do that will enable your children to watch citv in the short term is to get a satellite system, lidl sometimes sell a sat system for around £80 or the sky pay once option sold in supermarkets for £75 inc installation would fit the bill & are not unreasonable in cost when compared to some of the toys advertised on citv. You could write letters etc but i suspect that the lack of capacity & commercial interests come a long way before the interests of our children. Since having to rescan our freeview box, CITV has become unwatchable for my little boy. The picture constatly breaks up, this was never a problem before.

Briantist, you sure are patient, with loads of people asking the same question u still give the same answer.
The current series of Jungle Run is from the 2001-2002 series when Chris Jarvis was the host.
