I have an LG LCD TV and when I tune to 706 for 5 Live I only receive sound for a minute or two. Is there a problem with my TV or is there another cause?
Thanks
Peter

you had a sports commenter on this a.m. who mentioned that Golfer Rory McIlroy was not really British, well I would suggest he checks his facts, Rory was born in Holywood Co. Down Northern Ireland making him British, as I am. Margaret Dixon: I've looked at Wikipedia and now I'm not sure either. mel jenkinsFriday 6 August 2010 12:50PM

Sorry to say but I think ENGLAND need a good kick up the *** how can they lose such a small total? I am very upset with them. I could the other team have something up there sleve? C BensSunday 18 November 2012 4:01AM
Margaret Dixon you are falling into the common trap. British is a geographical term which refers to the main island of the British Isles, ie. Great Britain, on this island are England Scotland and Wales, it does not include such as Isle of Wight, Anglesey nor any of the Scottish isles. Thus anyone born in Ireland, nirth or south, cannot be British but those in the north are UK subjects and part of Great Britain and N Ireland.derek kayWednesday 23 January 2013 5:02PM
what frequency do i tune into for 5live extra on my radio?JackMcKnightThursday 24 January 2013 8:48AM
I am experiencing cross modulation on my upstairs TVs.The Freeview channels are fine but, any of the Sky/other digital channels show "wavy" lines. The feeds come via a downstairs modulator located beside the main TV&other equipment. Any suggestions please. Thank you.jb38Thursday 24 January 2013 9:34AM
JackMcKnight: Have you tried changing the RF channel that the modulator is set to? unable to advise on the best ones to use (and avoid!) without knowledge of your location, although I would use channels of around Ch64 upwards, not forgetting to retune your analogue TV's to find the new setting.
