I regret missing Andre Geim's talk on 18/4/12 BBC Four "Beautiful Minds" (9pm). Is it possible to view this/hear this retrospectively?LallySaturday 12 May 2012 6:22PM
Why do I lose Freeview BBC4 after 10pm? I have been watching or recording THE BRIDGE & can record the 9 - 10pm episode, but there is No Service after that. Cannot watch or record the repeats for the same reason. I have re-installed my Freeview box & Recorder. Any ideas? In simple language please!Su MacphersonFriday 15 June 2012 7:54PM
Reading Please can you help - before the changeover we had BBC Channel 4 and now it has disappeared and a red 'no service' sign appears. Our post code is RG8 7QJJohnSunday 14 October 2012 1:30PM
I am a European viewer and particularly like BBC4, so I was shocked to find suddenly on 10 Oct that I could no longer receive it.
I had not heard or seen any info on changes being broadcast!!!
I rebooted my scanner but no luck, I then found out that you had changed not the frequency but the Satellite!!
As its now on Astra 1 @ 28.2 deg neither of my two LNB's which are tuned to Astra 1(19.2 deg)and Astra 2 (23.2deg)will pick up the signal.
Does this mean I have to install another LNB just so I can receive BBC4?
If so I consider your action very arrogant!

John: do a new search on your sat receiver for the same satellite (i.e. same LNB) you had before (although it calls itself Astra 1N, it's in the same place in the sky as it used to be; your receiver probably knows it as Astra2/Eurobird)). Your receiver should find the new BBC Four, which you just add to your favourites list in place of the old entry for BBC Four. You may have to do the same for BBC Radio on Oct 16.
