Channel C51 (714MHz) has become very weak in the last two months. BBC Four especially has
signal 1 strength at best and is now channel 815 instead of channel 9 on tune up.

I use Freeview via a Panasonic DVD recorder on main TV.

Is it something to do with the weather? High pressure etc. Other TV hooked up to another aerial jack direct into tv has better picture but not brilliant.
Very strange all other BBC channels except BBC Parliament have signal strength of 10 on main TV. Any thing I can do about it?
I live in the Godalming / Guildford area.

Please can you help me?
I have a HUMAX unit PVR-922OT freeview recorder. I have connected it to the TV via scart lead, but when I'm scanning automatically or manually for channels on C51, no channels can be found and there's only 27% strength and 0% quality.

Can you tell me what's wrong?

I was given this unit by a friend and there are no instruyctions.
Thanks

Steff: If you are covered by a different transmitter as opposed to your friend, you may need to try a 'Restore default settings' instead of an automatic retune.

I understand that a recent software download cured the problems the unit initially had with a normal retune; the box may have an older software version.

Steff: Which mux or transmitter are you trying to find on C51? This frequency is no longer used at Wenvoe, and possible use at Mendip has not yet been implemented.

We have recently lost all C51 channels, which until recently we received fine. These are the only stations affected. Have tried different aerial, and bought a new digi-box, resulting in no change.
Using the Beacon Hill transmitter.

Hi, I'm using the Emley transmitter I suspect and anything on CH51 or CH52 seems to have fluctuating signal quality.
Checking the signal condition on the panasonic tv menu shows constant signal strength but the quality varies from excellent to very poor in the space of seconds, with disrupted sound and picture lag at times. This is regularly the case in evenings and I've tried re-tuning to no avail.

Hi until yesterday afternoon I was receiving all HD channels on freeview but now they've gone? I have reset my tv and retuned it but with no joy.
I know all my HD channels should be on 51 but when I do a manual tune on 51 the signal and strength is fluctuating and going off totally, can you please help me

Gary: With any queries of this nature its absolutely essential for a location to be given, this in the form of a post code or one from nearby, e.g: a shop / post office, this info required to enable the status of the transmitter covering your area to be checked out.
