Select channel 36 before switchover and there appears a map of the gulf of guinea! Do any TV channels actually broadcast on channel 36 or was that one never used ?

shaun: Channel 36 was used for RADAR, not television.

Hannington. In Andover after the first retune around the 9th of feb I could get all of the freeview channels, but now after the 22nd of feb retune, all freeview channels are grainy looking, and can no longer get Film4 4music viva, all of which are on C47.

T.Hill: You may have to wait for the COM multiplexes to come to full power on 18th April 2012, but you shouldn't really have a problem according to the official sources.

Following the 17th Oct 2012 change to the HD delivery MUX to "C47" in my area, and following numerous attempts to retune my Samsung SmartTV and PVR, I am now totally unable to receive the HD channels. All the other Freeview channels are fine. Just C47 is now unavailable to me in Tunbridge Wells (via Heathfield or Tun Wells Transmitter group). I have done many retunes since and also disabled SKY box and all other AV kit in house. Why is just C47 so difficult to receive?
