Why does Sutton Coldfield Transmitter Not show Film 4 this is really annoying as all of the others near to me do show film 4. please somebody tell me how to get film 4 of the Sutton Coldfield TransmitterFilm4 is on all transmitters, but you will need to do a full "scan for channels" to get the channel. Some boxes will not replace the "More4+1" channnel name without doing an "installation scan" or a "replace channels". It is possible that Film4 has been placed on a channel number in the 800-899 range. David WilliamsThursday 26 July 2007 10:17PM
Winscombe Is Wenvoe Channel 40 power going to be increased before changeover, to improve reception? Programs on that channel currently susceptible to atmospheric problems.

I also have problems with CH 40. It was ok some months ago but now all related channels break up? All the rest work OK.

York I live in York. My aerial is supposedly tuned towards Emley Moor but I can't get BBC1 Yorks or ITV1 Yorks on digital, only Tyne Tees (presumably from Bilsdale). WHY????? It's very annoying, particularly for local news bulletins.AlanSaturday 16 April 2011 12:12PM
Since digital switch over here in Milton keynes, sandy Heath, I cannot receive film4 or film 4 + 1
What can I do ?Alan: You may have to wait for Multiplex ArqB to move to the final power on 14 September 2011. RogerWednesday 20 April 2011 5:31PM
Over the last couple of days I've had intermittant probs getting multiplex 2 (ITV1 C4 5 etc).
I've read your and other comments and tried a factory reset of my TV with built in Freeview decoder. On reboot and rescan still can't get multiplex 2 channels.
I'm pointing at Emley Moor and until recently have had no problems.sarahWednesday 7 September 2011 2:18PM

living in York, my recommended transmitter is Emley Moor. My problem after retuning Sept. 7 relates to Mux 2, accessible on Channel 44, I believe. A manual scan returns NO programmes. That Mux is, however, provided thru channel 40 but the EPG for those programmes covers a max. 72 hours only. Please advise.mike dunphy: Can you please provide a full postcode? brian hammondFriday 12 April 2013 2:39PM
Maidstone I live in Maidstone at get my reception from bluebell hill. I understand this is a HD transmitter but I cannot receive HD TV, even though I have a good HD TV. Am I doing something wrong or is HD not available in Maidstone as yet? I have looked at this web site but it is not clear!!brian hammond: HD became available at switchover.
Your TV may by a "good HD" one, but does it have a DVB-T2 tuner in it? If it does and you are manually tuning then ensure that DVB-T2 mode is selected rather than DVB-T (which is that used by standard definition broadcasts in the UK), if there is such an option.
The make and model number should allow us to determine whether it is capable of receiving HD broadcasts.
