Stowmarket Hi. I note your page says that Channel 36 is not used for Tv but for Radar - and is also due to be deallocated from Tv by Ofcom.
I have an old games machine [Commodore C64] that is allocated to CH36 with no means of retuning it to a different channel. [ I believe CH36 used to be allocated exclusively for games machines etc?]
Is it still legal to use these now and how will I get on when CH36 is deallocated from TV?
Many thanks.BriantistFriday 2 November 2007 7:50PM
David: Unless you boost it up and broadcast it, there will be no problem.krishMonday 14 June 2010 3:20PM

Bournemouth Since the switch over the main channels have terrible signal strength and quality. I've tried moving the aerial In the loft and it makes no difference.
Ch 30/37 have good strength and perfect quality.
Ch 24/27 have poor strength and quality. Unwatchable.
Ch 33 no channels found.
I thought the point was to improve the quality as well as free up space for HD.JimFMonday 26 March 2012 10:56AM
Andy2801: Chs 30 & 37 are still on low power from Rowridge - they will increase on 18th April.
Chs 24 & 27 are on high power, which suggests you may have overload (either at a masthead amplifier or a distribution amplifier).
If that's the case, you'll find reception on chs 30 & 37 will become "unwatchable" after mid April.
