Camberley Originally I was able to receive mux D (chan 29), when I first installed my freeview wide band aerial about 4 months ago. However I continually experienced problems with mux 2 (chan 22) which forced me to purcase a new group A aerial, suitable for Crystal palace. Since doing this last week, I have noticed that I can now receive all channels, Mux 2 is now better, however Mux d is not available at all. This is a center frequency, so I don't believe that I can blame my new group A aerial. Do you have any ideas why I can no longer receive Mux D (chan 29). Steve Pegg: It's not going to be the aerial group. Are you sure that you don't have some local interference on C29 such as a VCR, Sky Digibox or games console. Are you using a booster? Uckfield I am having signal quality problems with C29, but C34 and C48 are fine. Why would this be? My postcode is TN22 2BB and I'm only a few miles from the Heathfield transmitter.Martin GoffSaturday 17 February 2007 1:35PM
Uckfield It looks like a conventional aerial, so I guess that's the problem? Surprising that despite being relatively close I still need a wideband aerial.Martin Goff: wideband aerials look no different from any other. Wideband simply refers to the fact the aerial can receive any TV broadcast frequency, whereas your old one would be 'grouped' to receive only channels transmitted on C48 and above. chris BriceSunday 18 November 2007 1:54PM
