Rowridge has Digital3&4 mux on 28 now - not still on 52 as shown on the mapThanks for the information, the database has been updated to reflect this, and you should now see the correct version on the map. We are on the rowbridge system but are unable to recive ITV on the philips reciever but can on the sagem.
Can you help?

I have also lost ITV 1,2 and 3 as well as channel 4 on digital. It would be nice to know why ITV is rated as poor coverage for SO42 when the other channels are so strong I can pick them up on a whip aerial!!AlisonMonday 7 January 2008 12:15PM
Havant I have currently lost signal for Channel 28, which is ITV, ITV2,3 & 4 and also all the Channel 4 channels. Please could you let me know why this is, when you say there are no problems at present, this has been like this for nearly a week now. All other channels are fine, with a good signal. Lyndhurst Freeview transmissions on Rowbridge.
MUX effective power graph.
MUX 2 and A are on RED LOW strength.
We have BT Vision since July 2007. We used to pick up all listed channels. Mid Dec 2007 we lost all MUX 2 and A channels. We have had a new vision box, still unable to pick up said channels.

Woking Yesterday we lost C28 channels (BBC4, BBC Radio channels etc.). Anyone know the cause of this?
About 6 months ago we lost BBC 1 and 2, etc for about a month and then they just came back all of a sudden. I'm looking at your 'Freeview transmissions from Rowridge' page. It has a column headed 'Rating'. Mux's 2 and A have a 'Low' rating and Mux's 1, B, C and D have a 'Maximum' rating. What does this mean please?
(I'm asking this because the stations on Mux's 2 and A have all disappeared from our aerial recently and even our installer cannot fathom out why!).HughWednesday 8 June 2011 6:43PM
My old TV a Grundig has a scart connection but only 9 channels! When connecting a freeview recorder to it all in the correct way - nothing happens! Is that because It does not have a frequency offered by channel 28 and so do I need a new TV any help/advice would be appreciated.Mike DimmickWednesday 8 June 2011 7:25PM

I'm guessing that you're on a relay transmitter that started switchover today. So far, only the BBC multiplex - which does only carry 9 TV channels - has been switched on. The STV, ITV, C4 and C5 services will start in two weeks at the second stage, when analogue STV and C4 are switched off.
If you want to use a Freeview recorder as well, the aerial cable should go to the recorder first, then link the RF out connector on the recorder to the TV's aerial socket. You should still link the recorder to the TV using a SCART cable, because very few Freeview boxes add their output to the RF cable, and in any case the picture quality is better.Paul SimpsonTuesday 29 November 2011 3:12PM
Hull Belmount; No signal on channel 28 on either LG inbuild tuner or on humax T2 hd pvr? Pixelation and breakdown on several other channels - new aerial, new box, new tv??We are in Seaford East Sussex and getting poor Sky RF2 output on channel 68. Which is best channel for sky rf out in this locale? I am guessing 61 36 38? Any ideas? London Just realised that I've lost channel 28 (multiplex ArqB) since switchover on Tv card in PC (NOVA T 500) but not on anything else. Showing 72% signal, no more or less than other multiplexes, but just won't lock. Any suggestions?jb38Saturday 28 April 2012 7:15PM
AM: If you are not capable of receiving HD transmissions then this possible reason cannot be 100% verified, but Ch28 has a negative offset on its frequency and some devices cannot cope properly with that as the signal is in effect off-tune, there might not be a cure for that on the device you are using but am unable to check myself at this present time.

I live in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire but my Samsung TV receives a Freeview signal from Yorkshire TV. I would like to watch Central ITV from the Waltham transmitter, which can also be received in this area but am not sure of the re-tuning process. Also, when you have settled on an ITV station, how can you tell which one it is? Pressing the Info button brings up programme information and other things - but doesn't tell you what ITV company you are watching! (ie Yorkshire, Central, Meridian - or what?)As I would like to receive Central for its local news output and as at most other times of the day programmes are the same from region-to-region, how can I tell whether my re-tune has been successful?jb38Saturday 11 August 2012 9:10PM
Dianne: Samsung makes a variety of different models and so its essential to know which model you are referring to, "plus" either your post code or one from nearby (a shop etc) as the signal levels from Waltham or any of the other stations that you can receive from cannot be assessed without this info.jb38Sunday 12 August 2012 10:15AM
Dianne: Just in addition to that said, Samsung TV's use a range of different menu formats making it difficult to pass precise instructions without knowing the model involved hence reason requesting it, not of course that this always makes that much of a difference! but the procedure to use is scrub everything stored by carrying out a factory reset, or alternatively removing the aerial and carrying out an auto-tune which "should" (exceptions apply) blank out the channel memory.
Once completed reconnect the aerial and go into the tuning menu - manual tune and enter the following channels used by Waltham one at a time, scanning each and storing the results.
61(BBC) - 54(ITV1) - 58(HD) - 29(ITV3 etc) - 56(PICK TV etc) - 57(ITV4 etc)
After having done this check if your model has an automatic channel updating facility, if it has then this should be switched off.
Although this info is given it depends on what transmitter your aerial is facing towards? updates
