the signal from channel 26 Crystal Palace has been very poor for the past 3 days meaning a lot of pixellating on the channels it serves. Have tried auto and manual retune and checked cables etc. but no improvement. Is there a problem with this channel at the moment?

Susan Pritchard: There are no problems, can you please see <img src="data:image/png;base64,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" class="xico" style="vertical-align:text-bottom" alt="www.ukfree.tv link icon" link iconSingle frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice ?

I have the same problem as Susan. Channel 26 Crystal Palace has become unwatchable.

Briantist - thank you for that link, but unfortunately I can't see that anything has changed that would affect reception (eg games console)

If both Susan and I are having the same problems, and in the same time period, I wonder if there are more in this situation?

Charles W: you are located at only 2 miles away from the massively high powered transmitters at Crystal Palace and as such your TV or boxes tuner could be suffering from being grossly overloaded depending on the aerial system being used, for a test try a set top aerial or alternatively a short piece of wire (about 12/18" or so) inserted into the inner part of the aerial socket.

I am in The Wrekin transmitter area (very close but in the shadow of Ketley Bank.
I have only been on Freeview for a week or so
Suddenly today all programmes on COM6
ArqB Channel 47 (682 mhz) have gone.

The signal strength is showing as 60 to 65% just as before but no picture/sound except for an occasional badly pixilated frame.

All other channels are ok

Any ideas please?

One TV works well finally with the BBC channels on freeview. The Linsar TV gives no BBC channels at all and we have done exactly the same as we did on the other TV. The signal is coming through fine for the other channels but not BBC channels. Cannot think what to do next - any ideas
