Julie G: I had a quick look on the Digital Stream website link iconDigital Stream , and there didn't seem to be any mention of it being smart at all. Yes, there is an ethernet port, and a description from the Amazon website that it means 'so you can connect to the Internet' but no sign that it will go online (unlike a Humax). We stopped selling that model at least a year ago, decent reviews, but no user friendly. Try a google search , but I think it wont do it.

If you want Netflix via your TV, a cheap blu-ray player will allow to do that - the Sony 3100 link iconBuy Sony BDP-S3100 Smart Blu-ray Disc/DVD Player online at John Lewis has wifi built in (so no need for the netgear adapter) for less than £80. A samsung 2D non wifi one (but you can use the netgear in theory) is around for less than £50.

Alternatives are Apple TV (best if you've got an Ipad) or Roku (if your Android) - both will have Netflix in them anyway. link iconUK - What is Roku | Roku Streaming Player - just buy one. - £50 for Roku, or Chromecast for less.
