I can not get satellite TV because the signal is blocked by trees and hills. Will Sky ever broadcast from an additional satellite to the west too?
The economics of satellite distribution do not lead themselves to having more than one satellite position. The locations used are allocated (by a UN committee) to various countries, each using just one orbital position.

Cheltenham Is the same satellite used to beam both Sky & Freesat? I cannot access the Sky satellite because of trees/hills, and would really like to find a way to get HD TV, as there is no possibility of cable coming to me.
ThanksDavid Lindsay: Yes, all UK satellite broadcasts come from the same cluster. You will eventually be able to get a HDTV service using your aerial when switchover happens (or December 2009 whichever is later)
