Freeview should encourage a asian channel to come on the network rather than sky, then all asian indian and pakistani families will buy the box.

Can't see it really, there are so many asian channels fta on satellite that having just one on freeview (which is all there is room for atm) would look a bit weak. Only way it would be a big draw, would be if it was a major one, and all premium channels are tied up with encryption/subscription deals with bskyb and virgin. By my reckoning your best shot at getting asian tv channels down your aerial is when the local tv mux's get auctioned off for areas with large asian communities.

It is true that if the Freeview - Box introduced a multi-sultural new channel that broadcasts to the Asian Indian Sub-Continental Community, Afro - Carribean and Far Eastern Communities with a special Arab programming, and of course during Ramadhan, Past-Over, Eid, Diwalie, Vasakie, and other occations including asian Christians its vital that the ordinary sectors meaning ITV-BBC-Five introduce a ethnic channel the asian Pakistani and Indian community will be pleased. Thank You.

* Please could those members that work for the marketing department at the freeview organisation should review their strategies and recognise the importance of the asian community and that if they did introduce with investments from the asian sub-continent-UAE and Israeil.

Introduce the launch of two new channels one for the communities and will suceed set box and audiance figures.

* A Arab and Israeli unitied channel would be nice and a Asian meaning Indian, Pakistani, Sri lankan and Bangladeshi network with some Far Eastern line up.

Thank You
