List of digital switchover exceptions
Almost all transmitters follow the same plan at switchover, with a first DSO1 date where the BBCA multiplex replaces an existing analogue service (BBC TWO, or another channel swapped with BBC TWO) and a second DSO2 where the analogue services are removed and replaced with three or six high power multiplexes.Existing Freeview transmitters (the 81 site plan) have their old service closed at DSO2, and public service transmitters (the largest in number, but not in coverage) only get the three public service multiplexes.
